At present, the Club runs six competitions in the course of the season covered by the Syllabus and these are judged by three outside judges competent in the art of moviemaking. The exception is The Tom Reilly Trophy which is judged by an audience vote. Members do not have to enter the competitions and only those of a competitive mind or who wish their efforts assessed by an independent adjudicator take part.
